Smart home assistance like Google Home and Amazon’s Alexa have become well known and well utilized personal assistant AI’s in the home. Microsoft has also made a push with Harmon recently announcing the Invoke intelligent Speaker. Jerem Archer a UX designer from Florida has taken this concept to another level.
He has built a concept appliance that not only uses Windows 10’s native Cortana experience, it showcases a holographic representation of Cortana herself while in use. Powered by a Windows 10 device with 4GB of RAM and a built-in Arduino, the appliance is housed in a 3D printed assembly with 3 panes of mirror glass. Check out the video below and Jerem’s blog page for a full description of his build and design process.
