The Xbox One S is here and Digital Foundary has released 2 videos highlighting the new console. The first video below is a general review of the console with its key features, physical properties and power consumption discussed and broken down in comparison to the OG Xbox One Console. You will be surprised to note that the console actually runs some games better than the original Xbox One console mostly due to Xbox One S’ overclocked GPU frequency. It is 7% faster than the standard Xbox One, going from 853MHz to 914MHz resulting in better frame rates in games with unlocked frame rates and less screen tearing on games with locked frame rates. The second video gets into the meat of the comparisons as they showcase quite a few games running side by side with the original Xbox One attempting to push both consoles with games that have heavy rendering to see if and where the Xbox One S shines the most.
