Ubisoft is giving away free games, that’s right Free! As announced earlier at E3, to celebrate the 30th year anniversary, Ubisoft is offering one digital copy on PC of their classic games a month free until the end of the year to Ubisoft Club members. This gives everyone the opportunity to play some classic games that we all enjoyed. This month’s free game is the critically acclaimed Tom Clancy’s Splinter Cell.
Splinter Cell was released in November 2002 exclusively for Xbox & PC, but later on was released for other platforms. This was the first blockbuster game released by Ubisoft Montreal, & made Sam Fisher a character that has become one of the most recognizable figures in Ubisoft history. What makes this game a classic is the fact that it received the E3 2002 Game Critics award for best action adventure game.
With those famous night vision goggles, & stealth-like movement, Sam Fisher became one of the most recognizable video game characters. Splinter Cell has been a long-standing franchise with five sequels, seven novels and soon a feature-length movie.
Splinter Cell will be available on July 13th, 2016. The 30th year anniversary offer runs throughout the year. The participating game will be revealed each month & will be available to Ubisoft club members for free for 30 days only. To see more details on this offer go to UbisoftClub.com
