Ark Survival Evolved launched worldwide on December 16th on the Xbox One. In under a week the game was downloaded over 1 million times with survivors lasting a combined 200,000 real-life hours in the game! According to Jesse Rapczak who is Co-Founder and Co-Creative Director for Studio Wildcard, daily Xbox One player counts on Ark have already surpassed their PC counterpart. This is outstanding news not only for Studio Wildcard but also for the Xbox Game Preview program. This could possibly ignite further interest to other PC game developers that are looking to use this service to introduce their in development games to the community.
With the Ark official release date 7 months away, gamers can look forward to regular game updates every two weeks. Some of these updates include split screen support, gamepad customization, UI improvements, game balancing and all the new content that is coming to the PC version of the game.
